Job Requirements:
K-6 Elementary Teachers require a Multiple Subject Credential
STEM Teachers, grades 5-8 require a Single Subject Credential in the subject matter they will be teaching
7-12 Secondary Teachers require a Single Subject Credential in the subject matter they are teaching
All teachers require an EL Authorization or a Waiver can be filed by the District.
Special Education Teachers require an Education Specialist credential with a Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe authorization.
Salary is based on education and experience. Barstow USD gives up to seven (7) years of service credit for previous experience.
