K-12 Teachers: 
K-6 - Elementary
5-8 STEM Academy - Single Subject Credentia/English Language Arts, Mathmematics
7-12 Jr. High and High School - English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Science
9-12 - Career Technical Education, Automotive

K-12 Special Education Teachers, Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe 

K-6 Elementary Teachers require a Multiple Subject Credential
STEM Teachers, grades 5-8 require a Single Subject Credential in the subject matter they will be teaching
7-12 Secondary Teachers require a Single Subject Credential in the subject matter they are teaching
All teachers require an EL Authorization or a Waiver can be filed by the District. 
Special Education Teachers require an Education Specialist credential with a Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe authorization.  

Salary is based on education and experience.  Barstow USD gives up to seven (7) years of service credit for previous experience.
