ACCEL Schools (managing company of Banning Lewis Academy Schools) is one of the largest public charter school organizations working to reform education in the United States. Professional Development Days: Banning Lewis Academy  hosts 10+ dedicated professional development days per school year to support instructional staff with actionable best practices in classroom management, instruction, curriculum, education technology, assessment, compliance, and more. In addition to dedicated professional days, teachers have a variety of opportunities for coaching, feedback, and development of their professional skillset.

Online Training Courses Leveraging our experience in online learning, ACCEL makes continuing education less complicated.

Tuition Reimbursement Program ACCEL employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week are eligible to receive up to $7,500 in tuition reimbursement throughout their tenure with ACCEL Schools for degree, licensure, certification, and other job-related coursework.

Mentorship Programs

First year teachers are paired with master teachers that provide mentorship and support throughout the first year working at an ACCEL school. This important program meets the requirements to qualify for professional certification.

ACCEL Leadership Training (ALT) The ALT program cultivates a leadership mindset and develops the critical skills required by leadership positions at our schools. ALT offers four distinct development tracks. Each program connects the participant with a community of peers and centers on foundational competencies, driving results, impactful relationships, leading others, and program knowledge.

· Aspiring Leadership Coaching Academy – for aspiring leaders

· New Leadership Institute – for leaders in the first three years of school leadership

· Transformational Leadership & Management – for leaders with 4+ years of school leadership and/or academic turnaround projects
