Job Description:

Our infants and toddlers are the best!  Their curiosity, questioning, and zest for life inspire our passionate educators every day.

As an infant/toddler teacher at our Joliet Early Learning Center you’ll be responsible for nurturing the hearts and minds of children during some of their most formative years, while instilling in them a dedication to life-long learning.

Joliet Child Development Center opened this summer after undergoing nearly $5M in renovations. Located at 500 Parks Ave., the center provides high quality, affordable early childhood education programs.  Some Center details include:

  • 13 classrooms serving children from infancy – school age up to 12 years old
  • Large gross motor room for indoor play
  • Staff and parent resource rooms
  • Spacious area for center and community-wide meetings
  • Outdoor play areas for infant/toddlers/two year olds, and preschool/school age children

Joliet, like all of our centers, uses the Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum program and GOLD assessment tool.  In addition, we incorporate our Healthy Lifestyles Curriculum into every classroom experience.

It’s our goal to have a Center that creates safe and nurturing learning environments for children, and as a preschool teacher you will play a crucial role in fostering that atmosphere.
