Job Description:

Background
Marillac St. Vincent Family Services’ St. Vincent de Paul Center location has been providing high quality social services to the communities of Chicago since 1914. As stewards of the Vincentian spirit, we are committed to strengthening and empowering those most in need to reach their greatest potential. We fulfill our mission through quality child care and early childhood education, after-school programs, comprehensive services to isolated seniors, programs for pregnant and parenting teens and outreach to at-risk families and individuals. Our employees commit themselves as individuals to live out the core values of integrity, excellence, creativity, advocacy, respect and empowerment in our daily work, as we serve the needs of others.

In the Preschool Program we provide high quality full-day early learning experiences utilizing the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD. We are a DFSS Site, and the program has achieved and maintained NAEYC accreditation and a Gold Circle of Quality from ExceleRate Illinois. Our low student to teacher ratio allows us to provide more individualized care, and our Family Support specialists provide additional support to teachers, families, and children.
