Company Description:

RPS is one of the hundred largest school districts in the United States. Across 53 school campuses, we serve a community that is 60 percent Black, 10 percent white, and 25 percent Hispanic — our fastest-growing population of students. 

Our mission is simple, high, and clear: We want every RPS student to graduate with the tools and knowledge to live a life of their own determination. We’re guided by our strategic plan (LINK), and remain laser focused on our three goals: 

• 100 percent of students joyfully and proficiently reading by 3rd grade
•  92 percent of our seniors graduate on time, and college- or career ready
• 48 of our schools are considered ‘on track’ or ‘distinguished’ according to the Virginia Department of Education
