Company Description:

St. Albans Montessori Academy of Learning (SAMAOL) was founded in 1985 by Monica Lewis Pringle, Founder/Montessori Education & Training. In 2013, her middle daughter, Vanessa D. Pringle, Executive Director/Co-Founder decided to restart the foundation that has helped educate and foster the youth and community of St. Albans, Queens, since the 70’s. 

SAMAOL was originally housed at 195-05 Linden Blvd St. Albans, N.Y. 11412. Since 1973 Van DeVore, had a vision to educate his Southeast Queens community by giving his community jobs close to home.  When Mrs. Pringle  was looking for a summer teaching job while attending Lincoln University (PA).  She noticed the School that was only 4 blocks away from her childhood home was hiring. By the end of the Summer she had become the Educational Director of Young Adults at L&A Wise Memorial Day Care Center. 

As we embark on a new era with Mrs. M Pringle and Ms. V Pringle, the Vision, Mission and Aspirations of the Montessori Methods will always come first with the education of Our Scholars.
