Education
Associate’s degree in Social Services, Psychology, Counseling, Child Development or a related field required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience with families.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain confidential information and materials
- Ability to stay current on developments in social services field to enhance professional growth
- Must be able to develop and maintain professional and positive relationships with families, children and colleagues
- Must be able to work as a team with program leaders and direct service staff
- Working knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and Child Plus Database
- Have access to a reliable vehicle and meet all agency requirements related to driving record and insurance
