Education
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field required. Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years professional experience working with children in early childhood education setting with at least two years of supervisory experience.
Required Skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information and materials
- Ability to stay current on developments in early learning field to enhance professional growth
- Ability to physically interact with children, involving both fine and gross motor skills, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in a team and supervise staff
- Ability to analyze data and interpret data to improve operational strategy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to develop and maintain a professional and positive relationship with families, colleagues and public
- Proficiency in Word Processing software, e-mail and internet applications
- Meet all agency requirements related to driving record and insurance
