Job Description:

The Connecticut River Academy (http://www.ctriveracademy.org) is an Environmental Studies /Early College magnet high school, operated by Goodwin University on its river campus in East Hartford.  We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic Chemistry Educator/Science/Math, with the ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests.   The school features a collaborative learning model, block scheduling, and hands-on and outdoor learning along with multiple connections to Goodwin University.   The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings and possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education.
