Essential Functions Summary
- Design and develop program.
- Develop daily lesson plans to teach general drama and performing arts to K-8th grade students.
- Teach knowledge and skills within the domain of performing arts: theatrical arts, acting, tech theatre, lighting, stage and set design, sound design, choreography/movement, public speaking, dramatic and musical performances, creative expression, and the like.
- Produce plays and musical theater productions involving various age groups.
- Build relationships and mentor students. Inspire and motivate students to extend themselves to after school clubs, school plays, and performance opportunities.
- Differentiate performing arts curriculum to meet the needs of the individual student and the student body.
- Integrate drama with academic domains and classes.
- Maintain care/responsibility for school-owned theater supplies and equipment to prevent loss or misuse.
- Active contributor and team member to Essentials team.
Compensation Package:Aspen Academy offers an excellent

Salary Range: Starting annual salary $46,068 - $77,528 (based on education & experience step and ladder, max 9 years teaching experience credit)
