The job description of an instructional assistant requires a detailed knowledge of course material, the patience to work with young learners, and strong organizational skills. Position Description An instructional assistant assists in designing lesson plans and assignments, leads small groups, delivers the classroom instruction in the absence of the teacher, grades papers and tests, and assists in setting up and organizing classrooms.
A successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
