Bridgeway Academy is a Columbus, Ohio based nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire the potential and celebrate the ability of every child. We offer an integrated approach to meet each child's needs. This collaborative effort combines professionals in the fields of music therapy, speech therapy, physical and occupational therapies, behavioral and educational services to include home based services.

Bridgeway Academy is seeking a Daycare Staff Teacher. The Daycare Staff Teacher will provide care and supervision of our staff's typically developing children 6 weeks to 3 years of age.

Responsibilities include:

Planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children in the program; upholding state laws, ODJFS and Bridgeway Academy policies and ensuring a healthy and safe environment. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, will enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have a High School Diploma and 2-3 years of experience working in a daycare setting or an Associate's Degree with at least 1 year of experience working in a daycare setting.

Physical job requirements include the following:

Must have the ability to bend, lift, stoop and get to and from the ground on a frequent basis. 

A Background check is required.
