GALS Denver is the only all-girls (inclusive) public school in Colorado.  Our unique model includes three primary components: Movement-Based learning- where all students move daily in a morning course, and we incorporate movement into our pedagogy, Powerful Academics - where we engage in a workshop model where students to the majority of reading, writing, speaking and thinking in the classroom, and Positive Gender Focus - which includes our tier I social emotional development course for all students (GALS Series), cultural structures and events to build a strong, equity-based community, and a mental health team on staff to support students and families. 

GALS Denver's mission is to empower students to succeed academically, lead confidently, live boldly, and thrive physically.  We believe if you have a body, you are an athlete.  We believe students are more that scholars.  We root our model in feminist justcie and inclusive, restorative practices.  

GALS Denver serves students in 6th - 12th grades.  We are always looking for future teammates in the areas of teaching, licensed counseling, administration and support, and those who share our beliefs and passions
