Located 23 miles south of Chicago, Homewood School District 153 serves a richly-diverse student body of about 2,000 students in three grade centers. All three schools were rated “commendable” on the 2018 state report card and feature dedicated spaces for music, art, and physical education including two state-of-the art STEM labs. Each school employs a full-time nurse, psychologist and social worker.
