Job Description:

***Secondary Classroom Teacher -- Math - Life Science and/or Physical Science                   
Secondary Classroom Teacher is responsible for providing instruction in one or more of the following areas of study: Physical Science and Life Sciences, Mathematics, Social Science, (Geography, History, U.S. Government, Economics) English (writing and literature), ESL, Health and Physical Education Special Education and/or Independent Studies. The incumbent participates in developing course curriculum, lesson plans, provides instruction to students, maintains a safe and orderly school environment, assesses and evaluates student accomplishments, maintains required student records and files and communicates with faculty, students and parents regarding student progress.

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Education, ESL, English, Social Science, Physical Science or Spanish.
• Completion of a single subject teacher preparation program including successful student teaching.
• Single subject teaching credential
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible teaching experience in a high school or middle school.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
