The Conservatory of Vocal/Instrumental Arts (COVA) is looking for Elementary teachers for the 2015 - 16 school year. COVA is a music centered charter school grades K - 8 located in Oakland, CA. COVA uses the "Teach Like a Champion" classroom management techniques. The classroom teacher will be responsible for providing all academic instruction from 8:30 - 1:50, and teach specialty courses in the afternoon rotations.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a California multiple subject credential 
- Have classroom teaching experience with good classroom management
- Have a background in the performing arts/music
- Have knowledge of the "Teach Like a Champion" methodology by Doug LaMov
- Have knowledge of one or more foreign language
