Job Description:
Our kids are the best! As a teacher support at our Elgin Child & Family Resource Center you’ll be responsible for nurturing the hearts and minds of children during some of their most formative years, while instilling in them a dedication to life-long learning.
Our Elgin Center deeply values collaboration with the families we serve. The site has an open-door policy, which welcomes families to visit and interact with their child throughout the day. We also host parent meetings, conferences and parent-child events throughout the year. The local Gail Borden Library partners with the center to provide a summer reading program for all ages, and we work with United Way of Elgin’s Reading Buddies, who read at the center weekly.
Our legacy in Elgin runs deep – we’ve been serving the community since 1927. Our dedicated team members have dedicated their careers to early childhood education and are committed to helping you to be the best teacher you can be. We hope you’ll consider joining our team!
